Introducing IAP's new project developer

IAP is pleased to welcome on board its newest staff member, Radia Sia, who will help develop new projects and source new funding for IAP.

IAP is pleased to welcome on board its newest staff member, Radia Sia.
Radia has a a PhD in experimental high energy physics from Syracuse University in New York, USA, and worked in a series of public and private institutions in the USA and France before joining IAP in late March.
She brings to IAP her experience in fund-raising as well as the coordination and management of multi-partner projects and programmes in areas such as research, health physics, defence and homeland security, energy and aerospace.
It is expected that she will use this experience to help develop new projects and source new funding for IAP activities.
Her appointment is possible thanks to a financial contribution from the Volkswagen Foundation aimed at building the capacity of the Trieste-based IAP secretariat.
