IAP's recent initiative - striving to develop, publicise and uphold standards for dealing with misconduct in science...

IAP has initiated discussions with its member academies on the importance of research integrity, and that as part of the professional research and academic community, IAP should be striving to develop, publicise and uphold standards for dealing with misconduct in science.

In order to begin to consider the issue, IAP is interested in hearing from member academies of any work (reports, guidelines, workshops) they have engaged in to address the issue of research integrity, or of any other relevant material that is in use in research institutions in member Academies' countries.

Many IAP Member Academies (eg. in countries including Poland, US, Germany, Kyrgystan, Japan, Bosnia, Greece, South Africa, Poland, Switzerland, etc.) have already submitted very useful references

Any more contributions from Members are welcome. Please do supply us with any existing data and reports in use in your country (either as pdf attachments, or url addresses) - if English texts are not available, please send other language versions.

The deadline for submitting data has been extended to Monday 14 March, to iap@twas.org

(pls state in Subject box: Research Integrity).
