Other
Project initiated by the National Academy of Sciences, Sri Lanka

The initiative coordinated by the National Academy of Sciences, Sri Lanka on science education for rural children through information and communication technology produced a series of CDs and DVDs - “Science Behind Everyday Life”. The series, copies of which are available from IAP, includes lessons on natural hazards and disasters, how the body works, and how plants grow. It aims to show that using interactive science education through ICT is an effective approach for promoting interest in science and for a better understanding of green issues among children.
